My love for art started way back in grade school, where I first discovered just how much I loved creating. What started with childhood drawings and crafts quickly turned into a lifelong love affair with all things art. I’ve been painting since high school and have always loved experimenting, learning, and finding new ways to turn ideas into something colorful and tangible.

I took my creativity a step further by studying Graphic Design at Fort Lewis College in Colorado, where I learned to combine my love of art with design and visual storytelling.

Then, life had a funny way of bringing me full circle. When COVID hit, I moved back home to Oklahoma City and began looking for my next adventure. That search led me right back to where my love for art began—my old grade school! I became an art teacher and spent six amazing years encouraging students to create, experiment, and discover their own artistic voices.

Today, I’m continuing that journey as a middle school Graphic Design teacher, while also making room for my own creative adventures outside the classroom.

​

Whether I’m painting, designing, crafting, or dreaming up something completely new, I believe there’s always room for a little more creativity and a LOT more color.
